New Application
Open a web browser on a computer with Internet access, type the following URL: https://imo.lgaid.ng and click on the “Sign Up” button at the top right-hand side of the page.
Click on the create account button
On the displayed page, fill the form by entering ALL the required details to create an account. Click the “Continue” button. Check your email for a confirmation code.
Enter the confirmation code and click on the ‘Verify Code’ button. Congrats, you have signed up successfully.
Click on the login button. Now login with your email and password.
Make Payment
Click on ‘New Application’ to start the process.
Click on the Make Payment button to the payment for the service, On the displayed page, click on continue
Select the “Paystack” option, Click on Continue to Payment.
Enter you debit card details and click on the Pay button. Enter your pin to authorise payment
Enter the OTP sent to phone and click on the authorise button. You’ll see a “Payment Successful” message once your payment goes through.
Filling the form
The application form has three (3) parts that must be completed:
i. Personal Details
ii. Parents’ Details
iii. Upload Documents (Birth certificate & Passport photograph)
You are to upload your birth certificate/age declaration in PDF format only.
Upload your passport photograph with a white background, in PNG or JPEG format only
Click on the submit button after the uploads.

1. How to create account?
Click on the “Create account” button
On the displayed page, enter ALL the required details as they will appear on your profile and click the “continue” button.
A successful message will be sent to your mail with a verification code, type in the verification code sent to your email in the dialogue box then click “Sign up”.
A successful Sign Up takes you to the main dashboard.
2. How can I pay for Electronic Certificate of Origin
Paying for your LGA ID certificate is quite easy,
follow the steps below:
Click on the “Start Application button”
Click the “Make Payment button”
Click the “Pay stack” and make your payment.
Click “Continue to Payment” (When the payment is successfully done an the application form comes up)
Enter your card details and click on the “Pay button” to make a payment
Enter OTP and click on submit
3. How do I complete my application?
Click on the continue button after filling in your details Fill in your Parents’ details
Click on the save and continue button after filling in their details Upload your documents
Click on the drop files here to upload the Birth certificate/Age declaration (PDF Only)
Click on the drop files here to upload the Passport (JPEG ONLY)
Click on submit button after uploading both documents A message will pop up to confirm a successful application.
Click on “ok” to view your application
4. I made the payment, and was debited, but can't proceed with my application.

Upload the correct passport photograph. It will override what was uploaded earlier.
6. How do I track my application?
Application status is readily made available when users login to the portal, they monitor their status whenever they login.
7.How can I download my Certificate?
